Fon was forced to work in bars indefinitely after her husband abandoned her and left her with heavy debts from his gambling. Her life began to change when someone told her "God loves you Fon" words that gave her hope after years of feeling unloved and struggling with alcoholism.
She had tried many times to quit drinking but only succeeded after putting her trust in God. She found peace, learned about God and trained in hairdressing, eventually earning a government certificate and attending a discipleship school.
Her two sons later came to live with her and she became a leader in a salon. After 12 years following God's guidance she opened her own ministry salon believing that only God's love can truly change lives, a message that she now shares through her work and life.
Our Reunited Earrings are a symbol that her light was never lost. It only needed space to shine again. They were inspired by her story - and the stories of countless others who are reclaiming their voices and rebuilding their lives.
